"Giving back to the community of which we are a part" is a one of our closely held core values. Our business has adapted the practise of donating a percentage of our net profits back to the community and beyond. It takes on many forms such as: monetary contributions, donation of goods to community organizations and educational institutions, and actual participatory support by staff members to worthwhile causes.Some of our favorite charities include: United Way (9/11 support), Special Olympics, American Red Cross (Katrina relief), Oprah's Angel Network, Children's Book Program, SPCA, and others. We encourage everyone, especially businesses, to do what they can to keep "paying it forward" so our society as a whole benefits.
On occasion, we will have certain goods listed as full contribution where 100% of net proceeds goes directly to the designated beneficiary.
